The museum is at a distance of sixty-four km from Khajuraho. You must see the exhibits that range from sculptures, weapons and paintings to garments. Around seven km from Khajuraho is the Benisagar Lake. The Lake is a place of attraction for the tourists to Khajuraho for the boasting and the angling facilities. Further away at twenty km from Khajuraho is the Ranguan Lake. Besides the Lakes there are the waterfalls of Pandava and Ranch around Khajuraho. The Ranch waterfalls are twenty-five km away from the Pandava waterfalls. Then there is Panna renowned for its diamond mines. The historical city is around fifty-six km away from Khajuraho. The place is a must visit for the animal lovers. At the Panna National Park you can see the wildlife in its natural habitat.

Khajuraho also has places of historical interest around it. There is the Rajgarh Palace twenty-five km from Khajuraho in the Maniyagarh hills and the Ajaygarh Fort at eighty. You may even see the Kalinjar Fort in the Vindhya Range while holidaying in Khajuraho.
